The average salary for workers at different ages have been revealed, giving a fascinating insight into our employment expectations as we become older and more experienced.
Research shows a woman's salary will peak at £2,331 per month when they are in their 30s.
But men can expect to wait longer until they hit their peak - raking in £2,830 a month in their 40s.
People living in London have the highest monthly wages, earning an average £2,925 every month compared to the lowest in Huddersfield with £1,729 a month.

The worst paid professions included cleaners, bar staff, waiters, carers and lollipop ladies.
However, the best paid included pilots, chief executives and air traffic controllers.
Late teens can expect to earn £1,270 to £1,361 while someone in their 40s should expect £2,258 to £2,830 remunneration.

The company said there was a direct correlation between age and salary.
It said for most of your life they should increase together as you learned new skills, gain more experience and increase your potential.

"Your age isn’t the only number that increases over time," the company says.
"As you accrue more experience in the workplace, your value to employers inevitably increases and therefore salary expectations should follow in line.
"But it also depends on several variables including your industry, development, skillset and even gender."
